my partner danielle and i came up with this awesome campaign for flip video in our creative advertising class. she did the copy, i did the art. we did it in about 4 hours last night. we really like it! enjoy!

wellllllll we are back from our most recent Florida adventure! we had so much fun and really enjoyed escaping Provo for a long weekend. Pictures and updates to come...just as soon as I catch up on my sleep and homework (pretty much the same thing:).

P.S. who said it was ok for it to snow here AGAIN? at the end of March? C'mon spring... spring already!

WOW. It has been a crazy last couple of days around here!
On Wednesday, Chris got a call from the Houston Astros who offered him an internship this summer! It is so amazing that he was selected (early even) out of all the people who applied. Guess I'll be spending some quality time in the good old TX this summer...We are very excited and I am so so proud of him! Congrats Chris!

In other news, one of my best friends in the whole world got engaged last night. I'm SO happy for her and excited for her and her fiancee. I love you Rach! Congrats!

The BYU AdLab is mentioned in the New York Times today for our work on the Tap Project! I'm so excited!

The guys in the lab have also produced some truly amazing commercials in the last week or so which can be seen here.
Overall, everyone in the lab has put in a ton of effort over the past couple of months on this project, from fundraisers and restaurant recruiting to ad designing and promotion creating. Everyone get geared up for world water week!

funny thing of the day: agua

so in the ad lab today i noticed a random small plastic water bottle kicking around that just happened to surface everytime i was around...

well i finally read what it said on the label:

Do not hit people with full bottles. Empty bottles are ok. If you feel guilty for using plastic bottles, pour the water on a tree

kind of awesome, kind of funny, kind of made my day.

dayyyyyy one

hello all (probably two of you...). i decided it was time for a blog and took the extra little push from my lovely roommate stacie to start one. plus i've convinced myself that this can serve as a sort of journal for me in a creative and fun way since i usually lack in that area of self exploration and documentation. and i seriously LOVE reading blogs. its a recent obsession.
